As far as I can tell they aren't releasing a changelog.

Over the past 2 updates I haven't noticed any additional features. The previous one seemed to get big of the long delay when the SmartTV menu came up. The only thing I've noticed with the current one is the media player no longer seems to think it's lost a WiFi DLNA connection when I press stop sometimes, now it always just goes back to the directory listing like it should.

I suspect there are only bug fixes, and Samsung don't want to publish the list of bugs hence no changelog. I'm sure if they were adding features they'd want you to know about it.

Is there any chance at feature firmware updates support the play of high@5.1 and not only the until high@4.1 profile matroska files.

And i want to know if it gonna add 3d subtitles(idx/sub) support.

Does anyone knows where we can see any feature adition that maybe gonna add to feature firmwares to each models of samsung tv?

A LOT OF THANKS

Yes, high@5.1 would be great. My previuos ue40d6530 played 5.1 profile, now I must convert to 4,1 profile for UE40ES6710.

Maybe this subjective, but I noticed change with new FW 1026.1. It seems for me, when viewing 3D, there is no flickering with daylight from window...

Whith what program do you convert a high@5 and above movie into high@4.2 and downer?

Hi i find one video that is profile high@5.0 and becaue my samsung ue40es6100 3dtv DOESN'T SUPPORT high@5 and above i convert it with programs

extract all the values of the mkv file with the "MKVExtractGUI 2.2.2.9 "
i combine and convert the profile high@5.0 to high@4.1 into .ts or .m2ts file and try to see it in my tv without any success...

What i do wrong?

I fail to see the point of having depth control for subtitles. As long as they're not rendered too far back or too far in front so things cut through them, what's the point?

Full re-encode.
Here is little hint. If you are re-encoding, set Frame Packing to side by side or top bottom under video tab. TV then switches to 3d automaticaly, frame rate to original frame rate and bitrate to 8000. And do not forget to set level to 4,1.
