top debug menu research...need your help

I navigate through the tdebug menu and i found interesting options:

4 (setoption)
5 (getoption)
in this menu you can enable/disable a lot of functions of the tv: you can set the record support, the internet support ( i think that enable the internet@tv) and more interesting you can read the boot param but is impossible to change this...
Another functions that i found is "OSD_Motion_effect" and i think this is the animated menu.
So i try to set option (4) but when i write dthe value i get error so i can't change the value arghhh
So anybody as an idea how to change the value?...
when i set the model of the tv to uc6900 the animated menu is enabled and the value is 1
when instead i set back to uc6600 the animated menu is disabled and the value is 0 so i use the option setoption (4) to set the value from 0 to 1 but withouth success..
So I ask to experts why???
if i found the way to change the value we can get animated menu in every model withouth changing the original model code and maybe this is possible for the pvr and internet@tv options too

Some functions are just not available based on model and trying to set them returns an error.
