IPTV via Internet@TV

Post by poetanuwanda »

Which would be the best way to watch iptv via Internet@TV?
Is any widget recommended??

I have tried with nStreamPlayer, BUT
1.- There is no understable documentationm (everything in russian)
2.- I can't play anz spanish, german or english live stream
3.- I don't know how to gather or configure new streams?

Could someone give me some hints?
Thanks!

You should try http://smart-tv-home.ru/index.php

Thanks juuso!! BUT...
look at the post title: Internet@TV

This solution (quite promising btw) requires smart TV, and my TV doesn't have smart TV...
Any new idea??
Thanks again!

Yes, i though too, but look at the description:
??? ?????? ??? ??????????? ? BD-??????? Samsung ? ???????? SmartTV (2010-2012 ????? ???????)
google wrote:a widget for TV and BD-player Samsung with function SmartTV (2010-2012 model years)
So this probably should work also on I@TV not only on smart tv. As we know a lot of D series widgets work on C series, theny why no this? You should try and tell us about result.

I think you should also try NetPlayer 2.73 (viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2125)
I use it successfully with many http video streams, some of which
come from an instance of rtmpgw running on an external Linux box.

Thanks a lot.
First I installed the dark smart tv inside my C series TV. It starts and so, but I can't see anything (Either I do not know how to configure it, or it is not possible), So i give up this way. Furthermore, it seems it requires the server on the PC running at the same time...
I also tried NetPlayer. I am able to see all kind of static videos and resources, but I am not able at all to create an xml giving me access to any real IPTV with direct streaming.
The last try (quite promissing, but also not succeeded) is the nStreamPlayer. It is the most promisisng solution, but once again, i can't create a new xml file with links to real iptv channels.
Thyere is so litte information of all these widgets that it becomes frustrating :P

As I did not root my TV yet, I simply feed NetPlayer with the addresses
of remote XML files residing either on my external Linux box or on other sites
(such as hxxp://internet-tv.webnode.sk)
You can look at those examples to write your own files
(you could also try the or the m3u to xml translator on the same site or the NetHelper application http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Deskto ... yer_Helper ).

The XML syntax used by nStreamPlayer/nStreamVOD is different but easy
to write, too.
