Which mice and keyboards (or mouse-keyboard-combos) work?

This forum is for information related with B series hardware instead of firmware/software.

I think answer is every device that 2.6.18 kernel supports.
Dev?ce needed to be have USB, or you can also plug PS2 - USB converter for the job. I think some IRDA devices allows BIOS inputs and make them represent as USB mouse/keyboard device to BIOS. Those devices are not "?rda" compatible but uses IRDA for transmission. Also Wireless keybs & mouses are working. because those devices uses bios compatibility...

But if you have bluetooth devices, those devices could connected every other bluetooth device so they dropped BIOS input for that. You cannot use those devices on TV. You needed to load Buetooth drivers to TV first but I think they are not ported to linux 2.6.18 kernel.
I wish have samsung kernel object that compatible for 2.6.3x :) that supports wide scale of devices. there is an option that some one could also "backport" those device drivers to 2.6.18 but no one will require deeply linux kernel driver knowledge...
So I don't think that we could support USB devices any soon.

The problem is that we don't have the code to rebuild the kernel modules rfs.ko for the filesystem and samdrv.ko to handle all tv-related syscalls. And backporting is not so easy. Like erdem said, keyboards and mice are not a problem as long as they're not bluetooth.

Is it not possible that having compatibility layer among older and newer kernels? Might be some one could write wrapper for those kernel modules.
I mean kernel 2.6.18 runs at top of linux kernel 2.6.33 (like VM) and capture & copy all IOs related with those kernel objects to real device.

It needed to be possible with KVM like technologies too...
I insist that something like that is easy to program if you know required knowledge..

There are some USB keyboards which work using wireless (2.4GHz) technology. A few with trackballs are mentioned here:

One review for the main item mentions use on a Linux system.

I was looking yesterday for a Windows Media Centre remote and noticed there was one RF remote with a trackball/mouse keys, if that would be of any use. It was stated to be "driverless", the adaptor emulating a keyboard. Here's one supplier:
