error is on client side, so maybe your isp force you to use some proxy server...forsteri wrote:I'm with UE46ES6100 on T-MST10PDEUC v1030 and got an 800 error, are you working on that? theres another way to downgrade like usb? thanks

Re: E-Series Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
I also always get 800 error on ES6710 and E8000, both on latest Samsung FW... haven't had a problem a month ago when downgrading an ES6300 (don't have that one anymore).arris69 wrote:error is on client side, so maybe your isp force you to use some proxy server...
Could it be Samsung blocks your IP 46.4.199.222 in newer firmwares?

Yes, I believe somewhat like that they maybe blocked IP, because today tryed another 2 more diferents isp and at end the error is always same

Re: E-Series Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Well, what can we do then?
Is it possible to just re-route TV's request to 46.4.199.222 in the router?
Or can we get the patched firmware (or any older fw) for download to update / downgrade via USB?

Re: E-Series Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Just did a factory reset from service menu and tried from scratch but still 800 error.
I'm on ECPDEUC 2002 and it seems there's even a newer one available on Samsungs site: 2003.4
... I guess it won't fix that error 800 problem, right?
Can anybody with 2002 or higher reply who was able to download the SamyGo patched FW?
Is it just me/us or really Samsungs limitation???

Hi Arris69! Can you publish hyperlink (or links table) which TV assumed for firmware downloading and ip address of the server with yours firmwares? I want to play with 'hosts' file and the dnsmasq program for "re-route TV's request" on my Zyxel Keenetic Giga router.

Re: E-Series Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
play with hosts file makes just sense on tv.alex3333 wrote:Hi Arris69! if you play with dns, if tv requests http://www.samsungotn.net dns answer shoud be CNAME infolink.samygo.tv
if you play with iptables and nat then reroute the traffic to 46.4.199.222
but no further support by me if you try to "hack around", thats why we made the server implementation, just set dns and let the tv make rest...
and if samsung coders really got the point how to make "secure" firmware updates all above won't help.
