BD-E8500N firmware

I bought just a couple a days, this player, BD-E8500N, and I have a big problem with it.
I have a CI card from UPC cable operator, I receive all the channel that I had pay for it, including hd channels, but I receive no HD channel.
They are not even in the list.
Is there a solution to change the firmware or anything else?

This hardware was bought from finland form a friend of mine and in the list of country I have only denmark, norway and sueden. I am from Romania and I use this machine in Romania. This could be the cause for not receiving HD channels? If is this true, why I can receive all other channels?
There are possible to change the firmware for Romania?
Can anybody help me?
