Hi,

I have a 3D Blu-ray Home Theater system( HT-D6750) and I am going crazy with the CINAVIA error.

I made the mistake of upgrading to the newest firmware and have been since then blessed with the CINAVIA error.

I followed the steps as shown in the first post and installed B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 succesfully.

Unfortunatelly CINAVIA still remains.

I also have the problem of not being able to perform a downgrade using the USB. it always give me a NO FILES FOUND error.

Please HELPPPPPP!!!

I need to downgrade to firmware 1010 or to a firmware that has no CINAVIA.

What do I do?

Thanks and happy new year to you all.

My equip...
Player: BD-5100
Firmware: 1021.1 upgraded online via internet (accidently)
Modem: Arris TM822

Trying to downgrade firmware
I've followed all the procedures listed and still only get the same error...
I connect the 5100 player directly to modem via ethernet wire

I've reset player (hold stop button 8 seconds)
change only DNS settings to 46.4.199.222 -- also tried 149.154.159.134
There's 4 options to check connection...
first 3 check OK... then,
I keep getting the message Can't connect to internet port, check internal firewall, bla, bla
Setting the DNS to auto gives a full connection.

I saw another post with the same problem, but no solution

Anyone have any ideas?

::EDIT::
Here's a screenshot...

I'm willing to use my player for testing if you can help me get connected for download. Guinea Pig!!!!

These firmwares are not having the problem with the DTS pauses in large mkv movies.
I can upload the 10.10 firmware but is Aris64?? going to help us in order to downgrade????
I have to say that i have upgraded from the 10.15 to 10.20 because the mkv files with the DTS sound could not be bitstreammed to my amp.
With the 10.20 everything is almost ok. i think that the 10.20 is one firmware before cinavia.
Can we make the downgrade to 10.10????
that now 1010 or 1020 has "DTS bugfixed"? send me dl url for the correct file pls.

Arris64

Please find the link i have uploaded it

As fas as i remember this firmware did not contain the errors in the DTS tracks(large mkv).
This firmware is the 10.10 and is older that the 10.15 that you have original uploaded.
Perhaps we could make our BLu ray player perfect again.......
Someone already find a solution to this problem?

You need to root your BD, and install patched exeDSP.
Here's how to root it: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rootin ... cpu_models
and here's how to patch exeDSP: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/ExeDSP ... Free_Patch

After you install the SamyGo widget, you need to unplug your BD from the power outlet for 5-10 seconds, and then plug it again and turn it on.
PM me if you need help :)

Hey, any new news on the BD-5100? My info and screenshot is a couple posts above ^^^

I didn't mention that the 5100 is not smart, so no smart hub... i assume this means I can't use the widget option...

anyway, would really appreciate any advice with my issue... I'm basically willing to try anything out w/ the player, as it is now useless in the new firmware, for my purposes.

tia!

:::EDIT:::

I'm trying to attach a copy of the original 1016.2 firmware, which I think is cinivia free ... but it won't let me upload the .zip

Installed SamyGO on HT-D5550. Ports 22 and 80 are open. SSH not working:

Code: Select all

Server refused to allocate pty
I then downloaded WinSCP and managed to connect and browse, but when I try to transfer a file it says:

Code: Select all

Cannot execute SCP to start transfer. Please make sure that SCP is installed on the server and path to it is included in PATH. You may also try SFTP instead of SCP.
Command failed with return code 127.
Any advice for the newb?

Hi, I'm new here, I tried to downgrade my BD-5500 software, I followed all the steps of arris69 and well... nothing appears there, it says that there are not new firmwares, no firmware are shown, so... what can I do?, can you help me in here?, does it works in Samsung's BD-5500 model?, thanks for the answers in advance.

check the first post in this topic, there is a list from what firmwares it's allowed to downgrade...
and read the other posts what to do if yours isn't supported. :!:
