FaNet method stopped working in the latest FW versions, so only method left for now is the TDM via console cable. Hope FW to be patched soon, to get in the player and dig arround.

Could you please check again on your unit ?
FaNet is still working for me with the latest firmware (I had a hardware issue with the front panel USB connector).
It is still possible to enter the setup menu with it :)

@oga83
Ok. Will check tonight.
*Edit: Just checked, but no success. It copied the files, but nothing shows. It could be a hardware issue, because can not find my other DKU-5 cable, so just connected CA-42 to DKU-5.

Edit!

I think, I found some signs of serial port. In this photo, here is TX and RX signs. Could they be what I am looking for?

What do you think?

Can anyone help me? I think, I find correct Tx and Rx but I don't sure about the GND. Using any GND on player is work or not? Please inform me.

GND is everywhere. places for bolts, metal around usb sockets and so on. Just noticed GND_CN1 at right bottom corner, use it. GND means GND, you don`t need to catch exact pin for serial, you can use any available place.

I think the same but when I connect Tx and GND, I can't catch any human readable info on my Putty screen. All data is garbage.
