But I do not recommend anyone to update firmware, as from FW >= 1030, we can no
longer use SamyGO and possibly the current root solution. (Correct me if I'm wrong or
if there are new updates.) If you really must update, only use the smallest version
after your current one.

I'm on 1030. 1030 can be rooted with pactched libm (LD_LIBRARY_PATH still contain /dtv) and more simplier with

From a developer point of view, we should really know where and how the channels are stored!

I still think they are in /mtd_rwarea/map-AirA.
After startup TV shows previously remembered channel but for just 1 second.
Then something happens (exeDSP does something) that resets channel data back to empty.
May be because it tries to initialize some DRM stuff wiped from /mtd_drmregion_*.

BTW, what parts of TV memory besides well known MMC partitions can be written to ?
May be some additional EEPROM exists ?
