I would like to add my request for a patched B-FIRBPEWWC. I have a bd-e5900.

yes, both bd-e6100 and bd-e5900 use the same FW B-FIRBPEWWC. Seems that this is the same device for different regions.
So, can you please do a SamyGO patched FW for this device? I can be a guinea pig.

Good time of the day. Help please-the lower the firmware BD-E6500 to 1053.2. I relied on samsung and updated to 1057.1. As a result, it was virtually impossible to watch SD IP-TV (MPEG2). I tried to downgrade via your service, but the player did not find anything...

Ok, so I want to get rid of Cinavia. It has interrupted otherwise fine evenings. Complete noob at hacking my BD.

So I input the DNS settings into my HT-D6500, and it finds an update, and I let it update. It updates from 1016 (august 2012) to 1116 (december 2012). Did this disable Cinavia ? Or is there some other firmware I now need to load ?

Also, does this include those SamyGO extensions, or do I need to install those separately (if even possible) ?

EDIT: After further reading, it seems this download only roots my device, and I will need to install SamyGO extensions later manually, and manually patch the firmware to disable Cinavia. Will attempt to do so tomorrow - nap time now. Seems from the docs it shouldn't be so hard.

While my device doesn't have a patched firmware yet, i am also unclear on this. My questions are.

1. While i can't downgrade over usb (necessitating dns method), can i patch a later version and upgrade via usb?

2. As far as I understand, the patched firmwares allow for checking for and executing script run.sh from usb on insertion as well as starting /mtd_rwarea/user.sh insead of exeDSP

Is ftp enabled by the patched firmware allowing us to change exeDSP and add user.sh?

3. Or chainfire correct in thinking installing the patched firmware from the alternative dns all that is required?

I'm stuck now. On my HT-D6500, after a number of attempts, I seem to now be running B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 (from first post this should be SammyGO enabled ?) and have the SammyGO Extensions installed in SmartHub. I pulled the plug on the BD player and let it sit for 10 minutes, plugging it back in. As I understand it, I should now have ftp, telnet/ssh, etc access to the player - this is however not the case. Anything I forgot to do ?

EDIT#1: Ok, I apparently do have netcat access, but not yet FTP
EDIT#2: No idea why FTP doesn't work, but at least none of the .ko's (like cifs) work. Guess they need to be recompiled for the correct kernel ? Included are "2.6.24_SELP.4.3.x-Cortex-A8" built modules, while I'm running kernel 2.6.30.9 ...
EDIT#3: Well, I think I've managed to disable Cinavia by patching exeDSP and loading it through a USB stick (as FTP doesn't work)... of course now I've forgotten which files I have have Cinavia so I can't test it. DOH. I'll leave recompiling those modules for another time.
