After updating and restarting the main screen stays at Samsung Smart and dont go any further - on display it says "load" - so I presume its bricked

the try to start the extensions via usb-hotplug method...
extract the zip file to usb, and create a file on usb with the name run.sh from where you call the SamyGO/rcSGO script...

Can you do patch of software SWU_B-BRCM65RBSP_001022_I05_ES000KS000RS000DS000BS000_120120 so as to have Cinavia gone.

we don't patch out more or less senseless copyright protections from firmwares, you just can get an older version of original firmware.
but the reason for older firmware is not the absence of protection, just the better picture/audio quality

I cant change the firmware to old one as it is not available on your server as per evident from first page. Also cant upgrade to other latest version as it is not getting due to version issue maybe. Can you guide me or show me any way of how to get this Cinivia removed from above mentioned firmware.

I got the message firmware downgrade (to 1015) is not available yet. I have a BD-D5500 from Thailand.

I successfully downgraded my tv (Thank you very much, great work!). However, for the BD player I cannot downgrade yet. How can I determine if you already support the firmware of my device? The above mentioned information is all that I can find.

Additionally, I found a firmware for the XS model on the Singapore website (http://www.samsung.com/sg/support/model ... -downloads). Version info is: SWU_B-BRCMBSP_001030_I05_ES000KS000RS000DS000BS000_121019

Am I on the right track? Please, give me some advice. Thank you very much.

Arris I did exactly what the directions asked on multiple occasions. It would keep giving me the error. I decided to update to 1030 and then try to downgrade from there. Now i am getting the "no new software updates".
If it makes any difference I am in Canada with Cable internet through a D-Link DIR-655 router.

I tried changing:
DNS on router and on BD. Nothing. I would appreciate any help from anyone as this is very frustrating.

Update: I did try samygi hack and it worked!!! Now just the firmware downgrade left...

I also get the error code: 400 invalid parameter. I've spent 6 hours trying for 2 days. I'm about to give up.

Failed to connect.
Error code:601 Operation Timeout Error
The Internet connection is not stable.
Please contact your Internet Service Provider.
But my net is not bad.I download movies with 1,5mb in sec.
What is wrong?

I already look everything in wiki about run.sh,usb-hotplug, just really don't know which one is for my blueray,And I try alot all no respond for the usb, please give the wiki page link suit for me ,from satrt to make usb,thanks
