trouble playing MKV files with compressed headers

I am using Plex to play mkv files, but it seems like there is a well known playing mkv files with compressed headers.
The developers of Plex says it is a problem with the Samsung api and they cannot do anything about it.
Is there a firmware update that fixes this problem.
