BD-D6700 ZA can't play blu ray discs

Hi all,
A noob here, hope you can help me.. I have been using the US model Samsung BD-D6700 ZA 3D Blu ray player for more than an year now. Recently I tried to load a blu ray movie (Knowing), which I'd previously watched in the Blu Ray without any issues, but it wouldn't load at all and I'm getting an error message - "Cannot read this disc".

It could be because I had pressed keys like menu, info, tools etc in the remote in a certain order which has caused the player to freeze. Now, I'm unable to play ANY blu ray, which were previously working just fine, and I'm getting the same error message.

Incidentally, audio CDs and DVDs play just fine - it's just the blu rays that are having the issue.

I tried the hard reset as well, but it hasn't resolved the issue. I couldn't get to the Service Menu as well - I tried Info, Menu, Mute and Power and Mute, 1,8,2, power.
Can someone help please? Is this a lens related issue or can I re-set some parameter if and when I am able to access the Service menu. Many Thanks in advance!!

really strange issue, I don't believe you've found some keys consequence that disabled bd playback. If you have warranty, call them.
