Unlocking Serial Console on EH4003R

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, i've managed to setup a connection to service port on TV and get serial console. Upon power on i get all the boot messages, but i can't seem to unlock the console and get access to TDM, i've tried all the unlock codes mentioned in the wiki, is there any other codes that i should try, can someone help me...

First, you have to be sure your tx pin is ok. Can be you get debug, because your rx works, but no input because of non working tx. Check twice
No other codes than on wiki.

Same like me, stuck with EH4003R console. I was test tx, rx by connect tx with rx in putty when i press 1 key will have twin character on putty screen. When i connect Serial USB to Service Port EH4003R only garbage character when tv running. Test with many values of serial usb.

I want TDM access to change region to using DVB-C tuner, now i only use analog tuner.

I also had the same problem of getting garbage on serial console, but fixed it by changing the baud rate to 38400. I've tried shorting tx and rx of my transceiver and it seems to work fine, need to go and check if there is some problem with the cable/3.5mm connector to the service port.

And one doubt if i type a wrong unlock code, do i need to restart the tv to type the next one or can i keep trying new codes.

What value in Service Menu to access, value of UART, Debug...

uart is set to Auto wall and debug is set to debug runtime, and for the serial console i use baud rate of 38400.

And still no luck with unlocking the Console, i checked rx and tx lines they seem to be working, and i've tried all the codes given in the wiki, any suggestions?

are you try with debug,1198282?

When i set baud rate 115200 usb. TV value UART Select: Debug, Debug mode: Runtime Debug i have only garbage character, when i type debug my TV auto reboot.

Tonight i will try with you baud rate 38400 and will report later

with baud rate 38400 and setting on TV i can access some menu like mwi, ... in putty when type help i see many thing with DGG#_

hey did you get any output when u typed "debug" or any other unlock codes ?

For me i only get the logs, no matter what i type there is no response from the console

when TV finished boot i have DBG#_ after press anykey. when i type help it have many command to do but i only access to mwi debug menu and 2 other debug menu, i will read more to do, i was test in last night, i will test more, i can't type to unlock code because console going to BGD#_.

Can you test press and hold ~ when tv begin boot to access TDM (i read in B,C,D Series) and i don't remember, i will check now.
