Help with rooting over Hotel mode

Hello,

I am having problems with the method of hacking over hotel mode. It does not work as it should. I need some help.

I did everything what it was posted on the guide here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1076&start=170 but after restoring the channels, restarting tv and selecting from the service menu Clone USB to TV, the system said that tv is restored and it needs to be restarted. I pressed OK and TV said that no channel is found and signal is weak, but no signs of run.ok anywhere.

The only thing I don't know is if I should perform the hack before changing my model to C550 or after. And if user owner and group owner of the uncompressed channel list, and usb_mount and 1.txt should be root. Also, I am not sure if I should write any content on 1.txt.

Somebody can help me? My aim is to hack the tv so I can use an usb wifi rt73 to connect my tv with nfs drives.
