LE46LC650. Needed help to recover SamyGO after Factory Reset

Hi,

First of all sorry for my bad english.

After three years very very happy with my TV LE46LC650 (T-VALDEUC 3008) SamyGo hacked (Samba, NFS, PVR over net, PVR decrypt, etc) I month ago my set begun suddenly to turn off alone some minutes after power it on (sometimes after 1 minute, others after 2, 3 minutes), but ever I got a stable power on.

Yesterday the malfuntion becomes to be worst. Many times, one after each other, Tv switches itself off. Then I decide to look for information about this malfuntion over the net.

I found that it could be due to power supply capacitors fails or perhaps due a firmware fail or corruption. I also read that in case of firmware fail it could be solved making a Factory Reset. Then I tried this last possibilty and made a Factory Reset by using remote control buttom mute.

What happened?. My ciclic suddenly power off malfuntion was solved totally, but I lost the SamyGo Hack.

I tried to rehack my TV several times following the instructions explained on the Wiki "Hacking TV over Hotel mode", but I got one and more times same results. When I try to made USB to TV cloning I receive always this message:

"failed to receive file from usb..."

I also do what the Wiki sugest in this situation:

Copy channel list to usb and rename it as zip file
Add the directory usb_mount with the file 1.txt in it
Add this directories (only directories no file): network_opt/usr/sbin/usb_mount
rename the file in scm.
re-hack using this channel list.

Without any sucess!!.

When I made some years ago the SamyGo Hack (with an older firmware) I made a copy of all files on the Hacking USB that I used after the hacking, and I have a copy of

- first_run.ok
- mtd_rwarea_before.tar
- mtd_rwarea_afte.tar

etc

I also try to rehack with a new Hotel Mode USB, but filled with ALL files I've backed up some years ago...

Same result "failed to receive file from usb..."

I only could use this USB to restore the channels adjust to the three years ago channel numbering..

Anybody coud help me?. Old USB was made with a firmware diferent of the firmware that its burned now on my TV set, probably 3006, 3007. Because I haven't Telnet I can't do nothing but,, There is a way by using Exlink cable or another method for restoring from the backup all was deleted by the Factory Reset in the mtd_rwarea?. Some suggestion?.

I was really happy with all was have setted on my TV set, even because I have a 2 TB NAS with a lot de media and was working perfectly as a big PVR net drive.

I think you should downgrade firmware to 3005 and use widget method to get root.
Use T-VALDEUC 0000 to achieve downgrade.

After you get root, you can check what`s wrong and update all to hotel mode hack (if needed).

Many thanks for answering. I was trying this but afer doing firmware downgrade to 3005's by using 0000 firmware sucesfully I found that I'm not able to download "widget.zip" from the link sugested in the "Hacking C-Series TV with Internet@TV only" wiki.

I get the web page for downloading but after closing the ad I receved this message: "Sorry, this offer is currently not available in your geographical ?rea"

There is another link to downloading that zip file with all I need for Widget Hacking?.

I've downloaded your atached file. I was able to download at the Wiki page the dredkings widget, but It only had the widget, and not have neither "http.exe" file nor the script files I'll need.

Do you meant that soon you will post another "widget.zip" link?.

this is widget i menationed. For http server search google. I think is not so hard to find how to fire up simple http server for your needs? Or?

Wiki page speek about a "script" not included in the dedkins widget only file:

On your PC...
Download "widget.zip" here
Extract "widget.zip" to root directory of your system drive (for example: C:\ )
Edit "c:\widget\www\widgetlist.xml" to change IP address to address of your PC
Run "http.exe"

Hi,

I was able to install the Widget following the instrutions on the link you told me sucessfully but when I select "Hack you TV" appers a window on the screen with the next message:

ERROR!: Cannot copy
/mtd_rwcommon/common/usb_hotplug.sh to /mtd_rwarea/usb_mount/usb_hotplug.sh. Error Code:-5

I'm going to seach about this fail.

Any sugestions?

Format /mtd_rwarea trough exlink cable. I don`t see any other way how to get hack working again.
Btw, i`m not sure, but perhaps your usb hotplug executing SamyGO.sh script from USB during TV start? I mean TV is hacked, but you don`t have autostart.
