The sata signals are directly connected to the ARM processor :
Difficult to see exactly where because of the heatsink.

I'm afraid the ARM is a BGA; Moreover, the pcb is a multilayer one; It will not be easy to locate a via on which you could make the connections :(

[Edit] Sata signals are marked in red

The magic codes 20102011 and 20089999 work fine, but I was not able to find any 'shell' command in the menu.
Is it available for the BD-C8900 ?
[Edit] My firmware is 1007_275. In the boot log, I can see some FIRHRDEUC, but no FIRURDEUC as listed in the compatibility list.

It is explained somewhere, but I can't find where.
So here it is again :
Go to Platform print settings : 2, 0, 0
Go to Advanced platform : 2
Go to DeviceManager debug : 2
Go to DeviceManager MW debug : 90
Go to Sell : 88

Code: Select all

        DBG> : 0x88
VDLinux#>
VDLinux#> ls
BD_JAVA MicomUpgradeForce hdd_makefs.sh
Cert MusicDBCopy hdd_partition.img
Comp_LIB PhotoBrowser hdd_partition.txt
DeviceUpgrade ReleaseInfo info
EDID SESK_S lib
EXE_IMG_VER SESK_T2C memalloc
FWDownload SESK_T2C_NORDIG mkfs
Factory_Part1.dat SESK_TC partition.txt
Of course, you need a hex-unlocked kernel to use it...
