Hi I have just bought an f8000 and am very pleased with it except for a few little things.
I bought this TV for the twin tuners so that I can record with it as am canceling my sky package.
The first thing I tried to do was add a hdd to record to. I have a spare 60gb ssd so I thought I would use that temporarily until I buy a bigger one but the TV does not recognise it.
I read that it was because the hdd needs to be fat32 so I had to partition it to.create a 40gb fat32 partition but my TV still does not recognise it. Is it because its an ssd?
At the moment I have an 8gb USB pen in the slot to test the recording and im not impressed, maybe its because im so used to sky but I find its functionality a lot better. I cannot find a way to record a whole series via a series link option and play, pause, rewind etc is very frustrating I have to press tools then swipe left then select which I want. Instead of.pressing "pause" is there a way to optimise the smart remote or tune in my sky remote?
Thanks in advance
