F5000 Query

Hi,

I'm hoping to buy the UE42F5000 but as with other TV's, I don't think that it will pass through 5.1 from a HDMI source or from movies played from a USB drive that contain DD 5.1 through SPDIF.

I've noticed that there is lots of support for a huge range of the Samsung Series and people have information on the smart range of the F series, but I can't seem to see any information here on the F5000.

I want to know if there is a hack to allow 5.1 to be passed through the SPDIF for this TV before purchasing or if there is likely to be one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

until f5000 is not rooted, any of hacks expected. Is this tv smarthubless? then shance is very low.
