1. Set the TV to the Standby mode
2. Press info menu mute power wait until TV has started
3. In service mode click to enter in Option
4. Use the up/down arrow to select LocalSet
5. In LocalSet use left/right arrow to set your country code EU_ITALY
6. Return return and Power Off

PowerOn Tv and its done your local region change

had someone found how to change the local set (from EU to EU_Italy) ?
I have a UE40F6400 tv and local is grayed out, not selectable, and ruSamsungTV doesn't work: it says everithing's ok but it's not!! nothing happens! I can almost totally control the tv but FACTORY and 3SPEED do nothing

IR led methods work.

I tried the IR method and after sending the Factory+3Speed codes the TV starts showing a WHITE,RED,GREEN,BLUE colors without accepting further IR commands from the remote. There is also now way to see anything else other than the colors. I can still listen the channel sound in the background. If I use the joystick on the back of the TV, it will go straight back to the TV channel I was watching. I'm on firmware 1110. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong ?
