When i try a little benchmark with HDD connected with usb i got this:

Code: Select all

# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dtv/usb/sda1/ddfile  bs=512k count=100
[217] exeDSP: obsolete system call 00900fff.
* USB detected *
Illegal instruction (core dumped)
SW image is stopped..
script in BOOT is stopped...
Starting pid 381, console /dev/ttyS1: '/bin/sh'
-sh: id: not found
What is exactly this?
Another question, how to see if we are connected into USB Fullspeed or Highspeed?

No it will no effect on recording. Only provide some debug support on ExLink cable.
PVr is not stable yet so it's normal to make crashes.

Propably the recording path does not match, therefore TV crashes. I think your usb stick mounts to /dtv/usb/sda (sdb) instead of sda1 or sdb1. At least my usb stick does. If you have external HDD with several partitions, then you might get sda1 sda2 etc. for each partition?
