Hi than0,
I just had a look at my tv's telnet capabilities.
In my tv (UE40B7020), the telnet daemon is compiled into /bin/busybox (as most other commands are). I'm not sure if you can issue commands through your exlink cable, but if you can, try busybox --help, to see what commands it has compiled in.
If it has telnetd, you can start the telnet daemon, by creating a link called telnetd to busybox, and executing that link. If not, you will need another busybox executable.

Enabling Internet onUExxB6000 and B550 series
Re: Enabling Internet on B6000 and B550 series
Hi than0,
I don't know about the watchdog. I can telnet to my tv (UE40B7020) and issue commands, no watchdog involved there. I use a samsung wifi dongle. But others have been reported to work, they just need a rebuilt kernel module, see elsewhere in this forum. I'm from europe, and never bothered about the fonts, so, no, I can't help you there.
grtz,
marcelr

So, could you try the method what I propositioned?antartide wrote:I pray for enabling networking on B6000 every night o.o
Could you try to enter bootloader and run B7000's linux image from USB flash?
If you want, some one will upload it's linux image from B7000 to here.
But you needed to CI B6000 device. I wish your device is CI

Could anyone place it's B7000 CI's linux kernel to here? Also with boot images.
You can also build kernel image from SamyGO OpenEmbedded
Aquadran has profession on using uboot, and could give details about process.
Here is the wiki article describes that how could you use flash images at USB device.
