I also checked newage's crack firmware 2004.1 with video ar v2 the version file also contains the letter 'S'.
Because this was the firmware running on my tv before...

The process worked for my CI device too; T-CHUCIPDEUC

The only main difference is when you type echo... >Version.0
i grabed the verion info from the original sumsung firmware file 3000.0
SWU_T-CHUCIPDEUC_003000_I02_ES000DS000_091112

That's correct, I find out what version is the previous firmware I've had, then I get the right string which describes my previous firmware version from T-CH*DEUC\image\version_info.txt file. I'll probably add it in http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title=F ... r_firmware article. But the question is, if the string for Version.0 file must be correct in every single character and number. Maybe only its format/structure is important, not content. We'll figure this in the next days.

BTW, did your Version.0 file content changed too after restart? Is it different from SWU_T-CHUCIPDEUC_003000_I02_ES000DS000_091112 now? See my previous posts.

I did copy and past with the original procedere. In this case even the command was wrong...
Pasted "/mtd_boot /MicomCtrl 23" with space between ..boot and /Micom...
I ignored the error and go on until step 4, but the mv-command did not work, telnet promt no longer existed.
After closing the windows "cmd" and new start of telnet only in my "cmd-box" i could reconnect.
No further steps were done, only re-mounted the old partitions.

Ouch, now I understand. Yes, some Linux/Unix skill are really needed here .

Running exeDSP with "/mtd_exe/rc.local" results in telnet connection lost. The tv shows no picture upside down, no automatic restart or anything esle. I pulled the plug out and in again. So it is now, fully functional, but with "new" 3001.2 firmware...
I couldnt recognize if there was any Segmentation fault.. It was the original firmware, but lcd doesnt restart by himself.

Be happy, that Samsung firmware design is so robust. For example idea with switchable firmwares was/is great. And I don't understand the new Samsung policy which disabled this functionality at all. To be honest I understand them, but I am not satisfied with it.

Creating the Version.0-file, added string with echo: Cat-command shows same string as echo-string (with S).
When the old firmware is restored the letters changes from S to K!

Thank you for confirming it, I corrected my command listing.
