Hi,
I have succesfully rooted my Samsung UE32F6470 and can copy TV-recordings to my PC.
Is it possible to copy media-files in the other direction to the TV and watch them? So I don't have to put a second HDD on the TV.
Copy files TO HDD
Re: Copy files TO HDD
You can ftp whatever you like from your PC to the HDD connected to your TV.

Re: Copy files TO HDD
Thank you for the reply. I tested this with the TV-Recording-HDD (look at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=6785) but the TV does not recognise the media files.
Because I don't want to hang up two HDDs on the TV, so I got another idea. If I use a large HDD I could create two partitions. One for TV-recordings and one for my own media files. Does anybody test this and was ist successfull?

Re: Copy files TO HDD
O.K. that sounds good.

- How did you made the partion?
NTFS for the "own stuff"?
At the begin or end of the HDD?
Wich format for the recording section, or leave one part empty an TV will format it?
Do you have access via ftp to the "own-section"?
Is the HDD listet with two entries under "Source"

Own stuff at the beginning, recorded at the end. Anyway the bigger partition ALWAYS have to be first on diskAt the begin or end of the HDD?
XFS (E-series), formatted by TV, you have to see in TV device manager (I don't really remember)Wich format for the recording section, or leave one part empty an TV will format it?
