YES! In the Putty software I wrong...I'm sorry. When Putty start I use 192.168.0.2 -> 23..1023..2023..etc but under "Connection Type I left SSH not Telnet. Stupid!
Now Its working with 192.168.0.2 -> 1023 port

I'm able to write in the console but CAT /.VERSION don't give me any result

Which is the correct line command?

Could you log into TV using FTP-client, and visit the USB-device CONTENT folder, and look for .key file(s)

/dtv/usb/sda1/CONTENTS would be a good guess.

But we really need to get that telnet-thing working ..

Anyone with a good idea ?

hello.
im asking if there's any way to get this program working even whitout rooted tv, like the old destroi-
i tryed to root my tv but i failed: i put the usb in the tv and smarthub never open. I had to restore the tv twice. However, a version for non-rooted tv would be a grat think for everyone. Thanks

Sorry. Samsung changed the game when they introduced the E-series (which means this is true for the F-series too) ..

Before the E-series the Destroi tool was able to extract keys from the .mdb file that was created by the TV for each recording.
Beginning with the E-series the key is no longer present in the .mdb file, and thus Destroi fails to get a valid key.
The Destroi keygrabber-module is also obsoleted by the new algorithm used by Samsung.

The key is now contained inside the .ss (Secure Storage) that was created by the TV for each recording.
This "secure storage" is strongly encrypted by secure hardware inside TV, and there is simply no way to
retrieve this "master key" used to create the .ss files containing the keys we need to decrypt recordings.

So, the "Destroi approach" is no longer possible. So sorry.

Brilliant minds in the SamyGO community have come up with an elegant solution.

Hooking into a number of functions inside the TV, it is possible to trick TV into thinking that
some recording is about to be launched, and the secure crypto-engine inside the TV calulate the needed
key for playback, and return it to the playback-engine of the TV .. At THAT point the key gets copied to a .key file for
later use, and TV is tricked into thinking playback was done successfully .. Net result .. you now have the bloody key :-)

OK, count the number of times I said "inside TV", or similar words in the above .. :-)

Yes, root is mandatory for E and F-series .. No off-line attack possible currently. The secure storage technology used is a
"hard" problem to circumvent.

Best of luck with your TV

You are using an FTP-client to do Telnet-access specifying the Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol.. You sir, are an artist :-)

Yes, its saying that it "cannot extract the keys" from the TV ... Mainly because they are NOT there ... zero keys = no keys to "extract" from TV
This is because the telnet-communication is malfunctioning on your TV .. We are still trying to figure out why.
The keys are produced by FTP-uploading a keyextractor-module to TV, and then launching it by a telnet-command.
The PVRDecoder does all this, but obviously fails to launch the needed module on TV ..

Forget about the PVR decoder until we get your Telnet working ... juuso, how to "debug" a "semi-root" .. working FTP, non-working Telnet/Netcat ?

Lets stick to Putty alone .. FTP is not our problem .. Only telnet.

Get us a result for the "CAT /.VERSION" or "LS" telnet commands ;-)

Try any combo of the following: Use another computer, kill all anti-viruses, firewalls, antiroot-kits, scanners, debuggers, aircondition, microwaveovens and lock the front door (put the dog out first).

Isolate what of those factors was the problem, and re-enable the other ones .. then re-configure offending subsystem, and get decoding hero-style :-)

Did you try the pure TELNET from Windows (if you have this OS)

start CMD.exe

type
telnet <TVs IP>

then type
ls

results?

EDIT
Do this file have the correct rights? Pls check via FTP:
/mnt/etc/init.d/
01_01_catch_crap.init

Must be 755 or 777
