BLU RAY bd-e8500 SERVICE MENU

Hi, I have a BD-E8500N HDD recorder and it is has only scandinavian countries to select from for tuning.
On the LED tvs you can go to the service menu and select the uk to tune it in - can you do the same with these?
Can you tell me how to get into the service menu to change it so i can sellect uk to tune in here.

I'm also interested in this topic as I have a bd-f6909s with most eu countries selectable except the uk and would like to get the full 7 day freesat epg working on it. The info-menu-mute-power on trick doesn't work with blu ray players but I'm sure there must be an alternative button sequence to access the service menu for blu rays I just haven't found it yet!
Anyone discovered it yet?
