Samsung smart tv is connect to internet but cannot display a

Well, I've hooked up the TV to the wire and the internet worked right away. In the process I've downloaded and installed the latest firmware 1047, after that I've been able to run the ffwd-289-rwd thing and select the country. Disconnected the wire and connected wirelessly again and it worked no problem. So I'm not sure if the firmware got screwed, or what the problem was. I thought the reset was supposed to wipe the firmware, however after reset I got the same firmware as before. :ugeek:

Solved a very frustrating problem and tv now updating....

Better than std bullsh1t advice from Samsung o continually do factory reset. Thx heaps

Thank you. You just saved me the trouble of taking tv back thinking it was a defect. I was frustrated to say the least. I tried calling support for samsung but missed the hours open. Patience eludes me at times but, the search that led me here paid off thank you!
