BD Player E8500 - patcher and squashfs

Hi,
first of all, I wouldf like to wish you an happy new year.
I recently bought a BD-E8500 which I would like to connect to my PC throught telnet and nfs.
I downlload SamyGo.py patcher, modified decryptor function to return (xorkey,md5digg,decfile,encmode) in CI+ case.
Then, python told me that the squashfs tool wasn't able to deal with the exe.img file as the version used by the file is higer than 3.0 (4.0).
I looked in this forum and I found a gz file with squashfs4.2 files, Samsung patches, and no Makefile.
I wonder if I can use the squashfs tools of my Ubuntu installation (may be not as Samsung wrote patches), or is there any one who create 4.2 squashfs tools for BD players.
