Newbie: Can I Transfer PVR Files to my PC on UE40F7000S?

Hi there,

I was looking for a new tv who also had a dual digital tuner to pvr programs so I ended buying the UE40F7000SZXZT which is my first smart TV which is a lot to learn by itself.

To my dismay I just found out that files have drm and cannot be exported to PC.
This is the first TV with built in PVR that does this and have no clue why.

Anyway a quick Internet search brought me here so hopefully something can be done.

I apologize if I ask something that is most certainly explained somewhere but I need a certain answer as soon as possible otherwise, if I cannot export and edit my files, I will return the TV in the few days I have left to do so.

-Can anyone please tell me if there is some hack that will allow my specific model to record files without drm and export them to my Windows PC?
-Can someone please tell me if I can transfer files from my PC (full ripped bds, mkv files etc) to the TV to watch them there?
I thought of putting the files on the usb I also used to record programs but the TV asks to format the usb drive i attach and once formatted by the TV Windows asks to format it again.

I am again sorry for just asking silly questions but I am still searching and reading threads but I kinda need to know what is possible to do while i can still return the TV (which seems great for all the rest)
If what i ask is possible I will learn it through the forums of course.

Will this also allow me to put files in the usb disk to watch on the TV?

It is all pretty new to me as this is the first smart TV I own and it has lots of new stuff i am still going through to learn.
Unfortunately i haven't managed to connect my tv to the Internet yet wirelessly so i guess i will unplug my PC and connect the TV via lan.
I have read somewhere not to update the TV and at one point it did ask me to update something: should i disable something somewhere before connecting it to the Internet?

I also have another issue that 2 calls to Samsung Support haven't sorted: i cannot find the rec button on my remote...
I know it sounds silly but i swear it's not there.

Didn't you get a second remote with touch pad on it?
You can access the on-screen record option via that one.

Yes i eventually found out how the second touch remote works more or less but i find it very unpractical to be honest, don't you?

What is bizarre is that you cannot start a recording from the old style remote but you can stop it...

It's a habbit.
The only annoyance about the touchpad remote is the fast forward.
Sliding skips 10 min and when using the popup menu to fast forward it goes away to soon.
