EH5200 PVR function does not work

Hello everyone,

a very nice and useful forum with a lot of interisting hint and tips.
Anyhow it would be nice if somebody could help me with the following issue:

At the moment I'm struggeling to enable PVR for EH5200. For that I used the HowTos described here in the forum.
Entering extended servicemenu and finding the corresponing options is not the problem but it seems as if options have no effect. The following options were enabled by using an IR emulator:

Enter Hotel Mode

SUB PVR support ON
CONFIG NO of PVR Records 1

I also tried to enable All Share and other options to find out if there's any correlation between those options but up to now without success.
Everytime I tried to use record button on a universal IR i get the message "not available" on the screen. It doesn' matter if a HDD is attached or not.

What else do I have to take into account to have success ...?
Do I have to change Device ID or what is missing or is there no chance to get PVR enabled on EH5200?

I found that some other users had success in enabling other options for EH5000 so EH5200 is more or less the same but with another tuner inside, right ...?

PVR only works on digital channels (dvb-t/c/s) and not for analog or external input like hdmi/scart/s-video...

Thanks for the quick response. I know that USB recording is only possible with digital TV channels. But anyhow it does not work no matter if I use digital sat or terristic channels of the integrated tuner. Any idea what goes wrong?

Here is a status update:

Allshare option ans other configuartion is possible to activate.
But PVR option does not work alstough PVR ist activated and num of PVR record is set to one.

Is there another sub option I have to set ...?
What else do I have to do to use this option ...?

Any help or hint is very welcomed !
