Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series
Hello,
I want to let you know that I was able to use this hack on my F6400, firmware 1118.2. Everything looks fine until now (ftp, telnet, PVR Decode, ssh some issues - maybe I need to do some config changes)
TV MODEL: UE40F6400
FIRMWARE: T-MST12DEUC_1118.2.zip
CONTENT OF "/.VERSION" :
"X12 0139" KERNEL MODULE VERSION : "0114.1131, DTV, X12, release, DEU_BRANCH"

Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series
Actually, the password is ok (root/SamyGO), just that Putty window immediately closes after successful login.
Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series
Is there any chance to PVR over network into samba share???
Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series

Re: SamyGO Extensions on F series
@Deus3X
yeah, download the SamyGO_stable.zip and rename it to SamyGO.zip. Then put it on your server with a widgets.xml file in the root directory. Then start Skype and sign in. Tick the two checkboxes at the bottom. Exit Skype but keep signed in. Then log into SmartTV with "develop" as an username without a password. In "more apps" go to the top right and put in the IP of your web server. Than go to App Sync. The SamyGO Extension will be downloaded and installed.
Turn off the TV and insert a USB Stick into the TV with the data.zip unzipped. Boot the TV and wait a few seconds until you start the SamyGO extension. Press enter and wait until you see the OK OK. Exit and reboot TV.
Finished.

thanks for your reply!
I have some dude...
You described me a different procedure from the one in the first post.
I don't know how to create the widget.xml file

I don't understand also how the samygo extension can be download from my server... i don't have it, i just downloaded a file called "samygo_test.zip" (i think that it have extension included), one called "samygo_stable.zip", the "data.zip" file and the "samyWidget" app.
The procedure described in the first post is no more working?
If yes, can you tell me what file i have to use?
If not, can you explain how to create my webserver?
Last dude

The develop account linked in the samygo wiki (user and pass) is working?
why you tell me to use only the username with no password?
Tnx you for all and sorry for this "stupid" question
