Is there any way to patch Samsung firmware to enable Yahoo widgets for all countries?
(yes, I know that it can be enabled by changing country in TV settings)
Patch to enable Yahoo widgets for all countries
Re: Patch to enable Yahoo widgets for all countries

Re: Patch to enable Yahoo widgets for all countries
have you tried to change your country in the settings (settings - PnP) to UK? after switching off your TV you should see Yahoo widgets.
Re: Patch to enable Yahoo widgets for all countries
Nop, doesn't work that either... In the wiselink country selection I only have Brazil (and I'm @ Argentina...and7ey wrote:have you tried to change your country in the settings (settings - PnP) to UK? after switching off your TV you should see Yahoo widgets.

But I don't want to fill your post only with my latam issues

Re: Patch to enable Yahoo widgets for all countries
I (owning a central european version) tried to change the PnP settings to a country where normally another widget system is used than Yahoo (Russia, Poland). But the widget system does not change. There still remains Yahoo. Having a look into the file system, there aren't any files there to launch a different system.
When I change the "local set" to "ASIA DTV" in the service menu, an error message appears when pushing the Internet button on the remote control.
