UE55ES7005 where to start?

Hi,

I'm all new to this scene and feel a bit ashamed to straight away ask for help instead of contributing, but I got some questions.
My goal is to decrypt recorded files from the TV to my computer.
As far as I understood I need SamyGO on my TV. I found two topics about this, E series widget -autostart w/o USB and [App] Install SamyGO widget from USB. Which one is preferred?
To decrypt and download files to my computer this [GUIDE] SamyGO PVRDecoder for E/F seems pretty straight forward.

Am I on the right track?

All in all I'm trying to avoid old/hard techniques. I just recently found this community and I understand that it contains years of knowledge, and I need some help to filter through all this.

Do I need to check my firmware before I start? Do I need to downgrade? The model is a UE55ES7005 bought in Sweden early 2013. Firmware is 002003.

I have a lot of experience when it comes to flashing firmware from old endeavors with PS3, PSP, Android Phones an such.

Please point me in the right direction and I would be very appreciative.

Worked out fine though. Used Sammy Widgets v1.1 to install SamyGO, very easy.

Have Telnet access now, just need to plug in an usb (TV mounted to wall so need to take it down) and test the decrypter.
