Im unsure whether this is the right place for this post, if not please direct me where it should go.

Dont know if this helps but the model number of my tv is LE37B550A5WQXU.

Had this tv about 4 years now and it has been fine, til now. What's happening is when i turn it on the red light keeps flickering as if ive got my finger constantly on the button of the remote, a number of things are happening

it goes to screen saying weak or no signal

volume can go all the way up to 100 ( on its own)

volume can go all the way to 0 (on its own)

other times the screen will turn to the hdmi 1, (the port i use for sky tv) the sky screen/ picture is there but i cannot turn it up

ive also had a sort of matrix effect on the screen too ( green lines)


also a couple of weeks ago whilst watching a film through the playstation, after about an hours viewing the tv would turn itself of and straight back on, then a minute or so and do the same thing, i believe the problem with this was that the volume was to high on the television

I took it too a tv repair shop and they had no trouble with it whatsoever.

I took it to a mate who also could not find a thing wrong with it, he seemed to think it might be a my ps3 causing a problem so he rigged that up to it too, no probs. it worked fine for two days and now its doing the same thing again.

Please help

it also does it if nothing is plugged into at all (ps3/ sky)

just thought id try using the touch button on the tv and it turns the set on and off no probs at all now

Scrap that, its tutned itself off and back on, back to the tv channel though( with red light constantly flickering), then after a minute or so it turns itself down and the remote will do nothin except turn the tv off

Does someone know what's going on please?
