Help with UN55C7000 unbrick
I did not flash any firmware, i was just messing around with the service menu i messed with model number and type, then after restart the tv makes the samsung sound at start but with black picture, no sound, nothing at all.
I tried the wiki in this link http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/UnBric ... M_Location, but did not work, the eeprom chip that i tried resetting was 4256brp IC1704.
Please help with any other ways i can unbrick my TV, anyone knows to navigate service menu blindly to put tv back to original settings, like how many up/down left and right to start the menu from the beginning and then navigate x times to get to the right settings? or thru USB or anything else?
Any help is appreciated Thanks

as you see, usually we need hi-res mainboard photos and all 8pin chip labels.

Found old topic viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4707#p35127 and i remember there was some troubles with eeprom reset. I just can advice you to try the method many times, don`t give up after few tries. Unplug TV from the electricity each time befor each new try.
Edit. Found another report on russian site. The proper eeprom for this model was marked as 4256 BRP, same as yours, so you are on proper way. Now the question remains - are you doing everything correct?
Keep in mind, pins on mainboard are coated, you have to be sure you get contact - use needle or so to scrach a litle bit contacts. If you fail with red marked pins, i suggest you to try same with blue marked ones. Might you`re lucky?

Re: Help with UN55C7000 unbrick
What i am doing is unplugging the TV, shorting the two pins, then while pins are shorted i am plugging the TV in then powering it waiting for around 20-30 seconds, nothing seems to happen, then removing the short and recycling the power. i have cleaned the pins from the clear coating and tried around 5 times, without any luck.
Could i be trying the wrong chip?
Thanks for all the help.

Re: Help with UN55C7000 unbrick
Ok some good news, i removed theboard and found 1 more chip that is 4256 BRP on the back of the main board (the chip referred to as chip number 10 in the old topic that you linked viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4707#p35127) , i performed the steps and got the pop up message to go into service mode. Al li can do is press ok. Then if i reboot the TV it goes back to the previous state of black screen, i also tried to enter the service mode thru Mute 182 power but i still have the black screen.
I repeated the EEprom reset and was able to get the pop up menu again, but cannot get into service menu, is there another way to get into service menu wihle tv is on?
At least some progress.
Thanks again

Re: Help with UN55C7000 unbrick
More good news, i did the reset procedure but instead of just powering the TV i performed the mute 182 power while the pins were still shorted and i was able to get into the service menu, i changed the model to UC7000, and the type to 55A2UF7E based on the wiki pages and the labels on the back of the TV display, rebooted the TV and everything is back to normal.
Thank you for the great help, i would not have been able to do it without this forum and juuso's help.

Re: Help with UN55C7000 unbrick
Sorry i did not take a picture of the back of the board, the TV is now back on the wall.
I used these pictures that look exactly like my board to perform the reset, the only difference is that my board is green in color. the chip that i used is the one lableed #10
