Sure looks right to me ..

It is my hope that Zoelechat might comment on your situation.
Zoelechat was a great part in producing this software, and he happens to own an E(S)-model.
It is my hope that he might think up some clue, - otherwise I am more or less unable to help you.
Every detail I can think of is already in verified good order otherwise ..

You might try the rooting-procedure that juuso linked in above post, but that would probably require you
to remove the Evolution-module for the duration of the test ..
But it might be a good thing for the community to have this issue confirmed, if such issue exist.
I provide NO assistance by PM, unless absolutely necessary. Please ask questions in dedicated topics.

I would have if I had some better ideas than you ;)
Probably something related to evokit and lack of feedback about it...
Just 2 thoughts about what I've seen:
-In a screenshot, I see "ls -al /mtd_rwcommon" command 2 times before any output, is it needed to enter it 2 times?
-It is normal that such command in console has no output, stdout being sent to file :) :

Code: Select all

df | grep -E "dev.*sd" | awk '{print ""X""$1"",""$2"",""$3,""$4,""$5""}' | sed 's/\/dev\///g' > /mtd_rwcommon/PVRDecoder.msg
And an idea, maybe try ports 1023/2023 for telnet if they're opened? (as they should on "standard" ES SamyGo installation)
IIRC PVRdecoder have different telnet/netcat implementation depending on port, especially to multiply "lucks", as well as SamyGo itself...
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

Hey,

Yes i have to put it 2 times into putty and entering it! Then i get the output!

With Port 1023 SamyGo says:
"Connecting to 192.168.2.10:21 .. Success
Lade Aufnahmen ...
Verifying telnet access to 192.168.2.10:1023 .. (18/50)

Verifying telnet access to 192.168.2.10:1023 .. (49/50)
Problem mit TV-Telnet-Zugriff aufgetreten. Bitte Einstellungen ?berpr?fen."

With 2023 the same!
"Connecting to 192.168.2.10:21 .. Success
Lade Aufnahmen ...
Verifying telnet access to 192.168.2.10:2023 .. (49/50)

Then, if you enter this command 2 times consecutively through Putty, do you have any output the 2nd time?

Code: Select all

/mtd_rwcommon/samyGOso -p $(pidof exeTV || pidof exeDSP) -l /mtd_rwcommon/libPVRdumpkeys.so

If i remember correctly, then there was no exeTV or exeDSP on 2013 Evolution Kit, it has a different name. I can't remember what it was and i don't have my E8000 anymore, so i can't check.

If the only man having experimented evokit can't give info, it's going to be difficult :D

@mcreuter
Could you paste output of this command?

Code: Select all

ps -A

Thanks M11,

That would surely explain a lot ..

mcreuter, try finding a running module and insert its name in the command (using putty) like this:

/mtd_rwcommon/samyGOso -p $(pidof nameofrunningmodulehere) -l /mtd_rwcommon/libPVRdumpkeys.so

If you can get this construct working, I can fix your problem by introducing a new setting in the PVRDecoder called "custom TV module" or something :)
