UE46F6400 and DVB-T2

Hi everyone,

I'm based in the UK and I just bought a new UE46F6400 on Pixmania.
I didn't read properly the description on the website, and it looks like that I'll receive a French model.

The problem is this model does not have a tuner DVB-T2, but just DBV-T. French HD channels are on DVB-T, but British Freeview HD is on DVB-T2. Other comments on Pixmania confirm that they don't have Freeview HD. The model in the UK seems to be UE46F6400AKX.

I will keep the TV anyway, but here is my question:
Is this DVB-T2 lack is a firmware limitation or an hardware limitation ? I.e. will I be able to receive Freeview HD (DVB-T2) if I change the region (local set) for EU_UK in the service menu ?

Thanks for your answers. Anyway I'll try it when I'll get the TV, and keep you informed, except if someone can confirm that it's an hardware limitation.

it`s hardware limitation. Built in tuner has no DVB-T2

My bad, I should read more carefully the specs on websites.
I will buy a blue-ray player with a DVB-T2 tuner with the economy I made on this TV :-/.
