if i try timeshifting while the tv is recording i get an error and the message this resolution is not supported in this tv and the then the record process stops.
it seems you are on right direction to achieve this on 3018 too please don't stop codings.

obiousvly i've tried before posting here
the file is right size but still encrypted if i try to play on vlc it starts but only black screen with no audio.
mediainfo says that is encrypted.

Yes of course 3018 solved a lot of tuner reception issues and make the channel switch faster.
The first no drmpatch i think acts like previous valenciaPVR it produces 0kb files at the end of recording but the temp files i think is in unencrypted.
I think that we have to find a way to grab and save the temp files while the tv is recording.
maybe bugficks as some suggestions or some hints can be found in his [App] SamyGO PVRtoTS E/F series.
anyone has tried if is possible to disable the copyprotection from debug menu? i think is possible but i can't done more research because my exlink cable is broke.

It looks it won't work for anything higher than or equal to 3015 Unfortunatelly I don't plan to upgrade to 3015 or higher because I would lose many functions (including timeshift, pvr, etc. ). If I figure out any better way for NoDRM on C I will let you now

If you have C650 and you have activated TimeShift and PVR using Hotel Mode hack method then after updating to 3018 you WILL LOOSE that functionality
