Disconnect TV from internet while updating from USB to be sure

I am with 1115 and there is a bug... If I watch a movie and switch to TV, I have no sound. So, I have to playback a movie and then press exit button to have the sound back for DVB-S. I have never tried any other FW.

I have the same on my ES8000 but not with all Divx.

In the F series there is not the SW upgrade via USB.

Are you sure about that? Why would Samsung offer extractible-to-USB download if not?!

yes I am sure. At least in 1001 is like that.
May be by inserting an USB with the right FW will open another menu but right now I have only update availble from internet from 1001 to 1018.
I'm now dowloading 1115 and I will try and let you know.

Update: when inserting an USB with the right FW inside the USB is scanned and it take the precedence to the internet one. Anyhow it is always better to unplug internet to avoid confusion.

Back home I found TV in 1116 and no more update available ... someone of my family has answered yest to the last update...
The strange is why 1116 ? and where in 1118 now that is not anymore available ?

With SW Version 1116 Samygo all OK on UE40F8000.

Update to 1116. Working well here.

Update 12-6-14: yesterday SmartHub updated and installed the Brasil football app (at least in Italy). Immediately after the Root was lost (cohincidence ?)... I re-executed the samyGO widget and root is again working.
