Thanks!

Yes. I have seen it but it is quite triky.
I thought sectroyer whould have created a new widget from USB like for F series.
I know he was working to that when I had some issues with installSamigo widget.

It's compatible with T-ECPDEUC. If not with 2014.2 (no feedback about this particular number), you can normally downgrade using firmware 0000 to well-tried 2003.4 for example.

Great work! I have a 40 inch E-Series. The widget worked first time and I am successfully using LordByte's PVRDecoder to get recordings off the TV. One minor issue is that sometimes, not every time, SamyGO pops up with a dialog asking user to confirm if virtual USB is for video or pictures. Can I stop this dialog and make it happen in the background?

Strictly speaking, there's no way to "make it happen in the background", but if you don't use virtual USB at all, you can disable its script. Connect to TV by FTP and rename /mnt/etc/init.d/02_04_vusb.init to 02_04_vusb.init.dis
Otherwise, it's still possible to reduce popup duration by using libSTFU: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=6556
