Rooting is not enough to make pvrdecoder work on H :) It looks that not only recordings are encrypted but also keys to decrypt recordings are encrypted :D
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Sounds interesting :-)

Well, as firmware need to be able to decode the decoding-keys, it (the firmware) also have access to the decryption-key(s).
Now, - the only problem is where to put the breakpoint where the decoded key-buffer is "ready" :-)

Later on we switch from breakpoint to hook

It still needs more investigation but I still don't know if it's even possible to place a breakpoint :) The decryption is passed to second cpu which we don't have access to :) It decrypts the key and then the buffer :)

It's too late for me. I already upgraded the firmware of my HT-F4500 player before I found this forum. Why should not upgrade?
I encountered the cinevia warning message code #3 from one movie that I download. Spiderman 2 the new movie. At first it was playing with sounds but after 10 or 15 minutes. The cinevia warning just pop-out and that's it. It muted the sound. Hopefully someone can bypass or removed this warning. Thanks
