[ROOT] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares

Here are software that related with Samsung F series TVs.

Your mistake is in assuming that when samsung says something it "means" something... When samsung says you DID uninstall Skype it means you DID NOT uninstall Skype :) Do a factory reset and disable OTN Support in extended service menu :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

Skype will not "unpatch" itself automatically, you have to uninstall/reinstall it (if you need it)
About widget which doesn't appear, the question is already answered approximately every 2-3 pages of current thread
* Reboot the tv and don't plug the usb drive.
* Open Smart Hub > Apps > More Apps and then put the usb drive and exit from the screen for new device found.
* SamyGO -F widget will appears after that.
finally, i managed to install samygo. after 5 or more attemps the app appeared under "more apps".
The installation widget only shows up when plugging flash usb drive under more apps section.
Biggest hangup seemed to be getting the app to appear in the smarthub. Took several unplug/re-plug cycles while viewing the "more apps" section before the widget appeared.

Factory reset is also not excluded :)

Well you were warned :) Nothing strange now you don't have root :)

Maybe, if not, you can downgrade to a lower fw version: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=7544
(...then potentially use public root method)

Hi everybody, i'm trying to root my UEf5500, prepared the usb and going to install the SamyGo app but i have a strange problem. When i try to login the account samsung(after input username) i can't select password field. I know that maybe it's a stupid thing but i don't know hot to do. can anyone help me?

Where did you see you had to "login"?? Just follow first post procedure (MST) :)
