Samsung 40D8000 stuttering sound while playing stream

Hi,

I'm transporting http stream over internet, feeding into xupnpd and playing it on the TV.
All working fine while the internet connection is good, but when internet connection has higher latency, then the playback is hitchy ( noncontinuous ).
I guess this could be worked around if the TV would buffer a higher amount of data before playing, so when latency jumps up, the TV can use the buffer. I know this would introduce a slight delay in the playback ( as my stream is a live tv stream ), but I don't care about the delay as long as it plays smoothly.

So my question is, how could I increase the buffer of the TV's media player? or any other workaround is welcome.
