Hi There,

I have an older ES6300S TV, firmware is still on 1036, I managed to root the TV in Jun. (OTN is disabled)
Around Sept. however I had to connect the TV to the network to do some copy, in the background smarthub have done an update.
Currently it's on 4.471-5.0 , and that managed to broke the access to Samygo.
I tried to install again the widget, but it didn't work.

Now I try to get it work again, have read the forum, saw that maybe a smart hub reset could help. Have done that. However now I would need to install skype again. But once I plug the TV to the network, smarthub tries to do an update, what I don't want...
Is it safe to do a smart hub update? Any chance to get Samygo to get it to work? Any idea how to proceed?

Let the TV fully do its Smarthub update, then you'll be able to reinstall Skype, and SamyGO.

I have changed now the default gateway to an invalid IP. So I can reach the TV locally (LAN), but the TV can not go out to Samsung.

i have install the new fw 2015.5 ... the tv is faster , and the picture are better .... but i have install samygo from usb... after reboot ... the widget are installed but i have no ftp and no telnet connection to my sammy.... can any one help me..? or must i back go to 2003.4??? or need the donation widget=??

From FW 2014.2 and higher, Skype patching method doesn't work any longer so the widget as is can't be "fixed", and a new rooting method for latests FW is available for donors only.
However, the common advice for your TV model is to downgrade to 2003.4 and keep it. Are you sure there are really improvments on 2015.5, not only psychological? It would be the first time ever a new FW bring something positive...
Maybe just TV seems faster precisely because SamyGO doesn't start?
Feel lucky to be able to downgrade and choose your FW, many people on other models really would like to.

No, you have to downgrade (e.g. to 2003.4, feel lucky to be able to) and use current method.

No it didn't work! Seams that Amazon has introduced an external validation (and not anmore as file on TV)
