LE40C530 with a ue32c6300 firmware

Post by spresso »

Hello guys,

i just buy a LE40c530 tv ,the boot seem to be very long so i check on the "hidden menu" what is the fw and if i can update it .
It's a ue32c6300 install on this tv ,the seller thell me i can read mkv from the usb port (this is why i buy it ;) ).
Is there a way to install a good 42" fw on this fw ?
it appears there no 42" support for this c6300 series ,i try to install the original c530 fw from samsung but it dont work .

sorry for my english ,thanks in advance !

what do you mean by 42" support?

all the c-series greater than c600(0) have T-VALDEUC firmware and 32C6300 has the same mainboard as a 46c6300 panel size does not matter.
your c530 should have T-MSX5DEUC firmware, however your startup speed will not get better with a firmware update
//UE40C6500 @ T-VALDEUC 3011 // rooted manual HotelMode style // PVR to NFS via 18MB on-the-fly sparse XFS // >> decommissioned due to tuner death
//UE46F8090 @ T-FXPDEUC 1136 // rooted by new Widget // root starting with empty usb drive
FYI: you can close your ssh session with SamyGO with

Code: Select all

~.
If you can't fix it using dvct tape, you are not using enough dvct tape.

I dont know what did the last user on this tv ,i change the model value (with -> on the remote ) and i didnt see a model start with 42 .
the tv work well (reading movie on usb) but it's like there's some lag/freeze with the dtv .

On the hidden menu ,i see that :Image

don't mix up model and type settings, the numbes in type settings have nothing to do with the model number.

what firmware version is currently installed? (should be T-MSX5DEUC 10...)

normally you don't need a firmware update if everything is working.

if you wand the values in service menu to be in their original state you need to ask someone with the exact same model and hardware as yours
//UE40C6500 @ T-VALDEUC 3011 // rooted manual HotelMode style // PVR to NFS via 18MB on-the-fly sparse XFS // >> decommissioned due to tuner death
//UE46F8090 @ T-FXPDEUC 1136 // rooted by new Widget // root starting with empty usb drive

post a picture of the first page from hidden menu and we can tell you your version, regarding the update choice

always the first law in IT: do not change a running system ! ;)
