I don't know much about HT-* stuff but for (IIRC) HT-4500 it works :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!

HT means Home Theater (=not only BD player, you know ;) ). You're right, it worked on HT-E4500 :)

Don't ask me ;) I don't even have any idea why would someone buy a bluray player ;) What for is a player that can play discs which cost (IIRC) 10 euro ? :) I know few people who bought/received bluray players and don't even use them AS bluray players :D

Yeah I am thinking about support H series. Do you have Skype on your bluray ? :)
