tips and tricks to expand functionality via service men?
Re: tips and tricks to expand functionality via service men?
Do you think that I can follow the steps for "5500" model also with my "5030" safely? What if it stops working?
Re: tips and tricks to expand functionality via service men?
H4000, H4003, H5000, H5003, H5030 ecc are TV versions without quad core processor and with a different software. You can try to enable something using operator men? but software platform firmware installed on these models hardly allow big things...try and post your results

Re: tips and tricks to expand functionality via service men?
Hello, can someone help me?
Trying to enter service menu mode, but after pressing INFO button on the remote and playing FACTORY_from_REMOTE_inv.wav with WMP and IR extender, on the TV appears "Not available" message.
TV is a UE40H6400, and other wav commands are working, like mute and even INFO+MENU+MUTE+POWER with TV off.
Can I try something else?
To tendi: seems that we own the same TV and we are from the same country: how is your TV PVR enabled and mine not? Does USB/HDD drive needs to be formatted in a particular file system, like old D-series TV?
Thanks!

Anyway, if INFO+MENU+MUTE+POWER worked you've already accessed service menu

I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

First of all, thanks for your prompt reply!zoelechat wrote:What about INFO+FACTORY.wav?thehobbit78 wrote:Hello, can someone help me?

INFO+FACTORY.wav doesn't do the trick, and with INFO+MENU+MUTE+POWER I can't modify TV model, which was the main goal.
Anyway, after some time spent in trying, full service menu finally appears!!! The trick was to send FACTORY_from_REMOTE_inv.wav command immediately, or even at the same time, played with info button pressed on TV remote. Then I successfully changed TV model to H6500 and voil?, PVR was enabled.
Thanks to all people of this fantastic forum!

I have read that the 6273 model have no HDMI CEC (Anynet+) function, is there any option to enable it?
or can i upgrade it to the 6500 model?

hello all,pgm wrote:Hi guys,
I've enabled PVR mode on my H6350 but it would be nice to add Bluetooth support. Does anyone know if this model has hardware support for Bluetooth, and if so how to assign an address.
Thanks.
I have the same model H6350, and live in U.S., but tv wasn't able to save pvr enabled.
First thing i did, was turn off otn support, to stop any further fw/software updates. Then i changed data services support on, and java enable on(tv saved those settings). Lastly, i changed num of pvr record to 1, and then enabled pvr, to on(these are the only fields, it did not save).
I don't see the mhp option, unless that is for foreign tv sets only.
Do i need to change tv model from 6350 to 6500 still?(kind of leary about doing so) Do i need to connect an external hard drive first, so tv can enable pvr option?

Thx for the answer.... What do you mean for "via operator"?Olfason wrote:H4000, H4003, H5000, H5003, H5030 ecc are TV versions without quad core processor and with a different software. You can try to enable something using operator men?... changing MODEL and then, for safety, disabling bluetooth, 3D and all related hardware not included on your TV.
