Yeah you can use root on demand unplug USB (while TV is OFF) and no root Also you can do full TV reset and it brings up Skype

Maybe (?) it does the same (if not only equals to "Smarthub reset"), but a "Factory reset" from service menu is probably easier than changing country twice.

Honestly I don't know what it does, I was suggested to do "a full tv reset" to restore Skype once I unplug the root usb, so that I can use Skype again on my tv.
