[Ended][ROOT] H "Skype" root (FW<=Dec.2014, all T-GFS)

Ok, I've understood that, but what about the advice by miazza and zoelechat? Are the 2 procedures equivalent as zoelechat was conjecturing?

IIRC fro me Factory reset dint' work. At least that's what I remember ;)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

What happens if it doesn't work?

I think sectroyer meant it's not enough to get back Skype to work. Anyway, the best is probably that you try by yourself when you'll be decided. At least you know it's possible :)

Hello

I have tried the H-Root on a UE65HU8590 on Firmware Version 1190. OTA has been switched off and everything has been set up as required (skype, ...)

The Rooting process with the SamyGo Widget runs without any errors - however it looks like its not working. Check out the screenshots attached.

I cant connect via telnet or ftp. Also skype still works ...

I hope anyone can help me !
