[Ended][ROOT] H "Skype" root (FW<=Dec.2014, all T-GFS)
Re: [!!!] Rooting H series
Yeah looks like lack of newline... Always after last entry... It's bad to not end line "nicely"

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

SamyGO RCremap v0.3.5 log - (c) bugficks 2013

Just wondered because you talked about 0.3.6 as latest
Hello.
OK I was found key responsible for POWER OFF.
It is BD_KEY_POWER.
I remaped it to CMD:/sbin/micom shutdown - it works !!!! But conditionally.
I noticed that in config file first line must not be remaped to CMD - strange.
When in first line is key remaped to CMD finally after execustion in log file you can find error config file (remap procedure failure)
When in first line is any other remap key, for example "KEY_01": "KEY_02" - everythink works.
Here you can find two examples - , Last two questions:
1. Why key BD_KEY_POWER dosen't works normaly?
2. Now if I want to set pernamently key BD_KEY_POWER to CMD:/sbin/micom shutdown - Should I only switch ON script 99_99_RCremap.init?
Or should I do more things?
Thank you fo support.

I have tried the H-Root on a UE65HU8590 on Firmware Version 1190. OTA has been switched off and everything has been set up as required (skype, ...)
The Rooting process with the SamyGo Widget runs without any errors - however it looks like its not working. Check out the screenshots attached.
I cant connect via telnet or ftp. Also skype still works ...

Yes, copy 99_99_RCremap.init to /mnt/etc/init.d, chmod +x, should be enough for autostart.
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

Works - thank you.
Now I can say that SamyGO is fully installed and worked for my H7000 TV.
ps. command micom shutdown has one negative point for TV: Anynet+ dosent work between TV and satellite decoder.
What about key BD_KEY_POWER? Do you know why it dosen't works normaly?
Is it possible to update or change something inside samyGO to fix this problem?
It is for sure last my questions.

Re: [!!!] Rooting H series
I told you: it's brutal shutdown, not soft onespiderjuka wrote:ps. command micom shutdown has one negative point for TV: Anynet+ dosent work between TV and satellite decoder.

I think sectroyer already answered several times: router/USB/blahspiderjuka wrote:What about key BD_KEY_POWER? Do you know why it dosen't works normaly?
